Gold Mac

This hybrid is the most challenging to grow in our line-up of Pot of Gold crosses, however she is the most rewarding. Her slow growth and tendency to have a leaf curl can lead inexperienced growers into thinking issues may be abound. Our advice is to slowly ramp up light intensity and the EC of your feed. Too much too quickly can stress this girl and slow down growth. She tolerates high humidity in veg but will need to be dialed back in late flower as her large dense buds can be prone to rot. We discovered 2 main phenotypes; a MAC leaning pheno with more purple and magenta colors on the finish, and a nose similar to Mac 1. The other pheno is more green and has a nose similar to the strain Dutch treat. Both phenotypes exhibited an enormous level of sticky, greasy, resin. Not sandy resin.

We selected three Pot of Gold studs to make this line of crosses. Pot of Gold is originally from Flying Dutchmen seeds and won 3rd place at the High Times Cup in 2003. Pot of Gold is a cross of Hindu Kush and Skunk #1. The MAC mother used in this cross was gifted to us from a special friend.
